Double Penetration | A Guide to Unlocking Intense Pleasure

Double penetration is one of the most popular search terms in mainstream porn, and is a regular feature on porn websites, especially when it features MFM threesomes or gang bangs. The typical porn scene sees the female star seamlessly penetrated by two penises at the same, making it look easy and effortless. But the reality of double penetration is very different. DP requires some forethought and preparation to get right.

Experiment with toys before taking the double penetration plunge 

Before you even think about trying double penetration with two partners, you really want to spend some time experimenting with sex toys to explore the sensation of having both your vagina and your anus penetrated at the same time. Even if you have a regular partner, I really recommend starting off solo with two toys, so you can take your time and set the pace. Use some sort of soft dildo for your vagina that has a bit of give and flexibility to it, then get yourself a slim anal dildo for your anus that is rigid enough to do the job, but not too big for you to handle.

Double penetration is a very intense and very pleasurable sensation for many, but at first it will likely feel very foreign. Therefore, taking it slow and being in control yourself will give you the time to build your confidence before introducing a partner into the mix. 

And then experiment with toys some more!

Once you feel ready to share the experience with a partner, then you can try using toys with them to create a double penetration experience for you both. I would always suggest starting with your partner penetrating your vagina and using a toy to penetrate your anus. Remember to always use a toy that has a proper body safe base, so it doesn't get drawn up into your rectum. 

Again, a slim anal dildo works really well for first-time double penetration. After this, you can try the opposite and have your partner penetrate your anus with their penis and use a toy in your vagina. Use something with a bit of flex, because after all, penises (even when erect) have some bend and give to them; you want a toy that mimics this natural feeling. 

Lube, lube and extra lube
 

Lube is an essential part of double penetration. In lots of porn scenes that feature double penetration, there is no sign of any lube, or sometimes someone will use spit. This is porn; not real life. You need lots of good lube for any type of anal play because the anus is not self-lubricating, and when it comes to double penetration there tends to be less space and things are even tighter than normal. Lube will not only make it more pleasurable, but also make it possible. Use liberal amounts on both your anus and the toy or penises you are using. Never skimp on the lube!

Don’t use desensitizing lubes, though. You want to be able to feel what is going on. Anal penetration shouldn’t actually be painful, and if it is, that is a sign you should stop. You may feel slight discomfort at first as your body is adjusting, but actual pain is your body telling you something is wrong. Masking that and continuing anyway can lead to damage, such as tearing, and if you have no sensation then you won’t know when something is not right. 

Pick your partner(s) wisely

Attempting DP with a new partner is unlikely to result in a successful and pleasurable experience. Adding one new partner to the mix is fine, but adding two isn't easy. You really want everyone involved to be happy and comfortable in each other’s company. Make sure you spend plenty of time beforehand discussing double penetration and how you envision trying it. Talk about positions; what people are comfortable and not comfortable with; who is going to take what position; when and where you are going to do it, etc.

What positions?

There are a variety of positions that you can try in your double penetration fairy tale! Most commonly, the person with the vulva is sandwiched between two people with penises. Which way you go about that really is up to you, but maybe think about which partner you want to be face-to-face with, and which partner you want to be in which hole. Make a plan… and see how it goes!

Slow your roll 

They make it look easy in porn, but being penetrated by two penises can be very intense. You need to be relaxed, comfortable and turned on. You want to spend time leading up to it, doing other things that help get you in the mood. Don’t be put off if double penetration isn't for you first time around. Go slow, and enjoy the journey.
