BDSM Passions Visual Appeal | Ouch!
I've never heard of anyone being a visual masochist, but if there are any out there, bdsmpassions.com is the place for you. Visually, the site looks old (I saw the internet in the 90s) with swathes of wasted white space. All the text is bundled up together, and it's all text, no images. BDSM Passions Navigation and User Feel | Kinky but Confusing
Sign-up to bdsmpassions.com is easy enough, with a good array of gender options, which you can pick more than one of, as well as a vast array of sexuality choices which is much better than most other kinky dating sites. Part of the process is adding a description of yourself and what you're looking for. So there's no need to fill in further profile info once you're signed in.
You need to wait for an email from bdsmpassions.com to verify your address before you can log in, but that's a simple enough process. Once logged in, you can access all areas of BDSM passions, groups, forums, blogs and more. However, if you want to access the chat room, you have to upload a photo, which involves getting the picture approved by a member of staff so it can take a while.
Finding everything takes some time, the site isn't particularly easy to navigate, but once I spent a little time looking around, I soon got the hang of it.
BDSM Passions Community Feel | Where?
At first glance, bdsmpassions.com looks like a community. There's a chat facility, forums and groups. However, when you look closer, you find well, no one. The groups are just lists of people's profiles who are into Dominance, bondage, spanking etc. and there's no information in those groups or ways to chat.
The bdsmpassions.com forum is, well, dead. There's one post from 2019, all the rest are years old. As of writing this review, I haven't had a photo verified, so I've not been able to use the chat. However, from what I can see, it doesn't seem very busy at all.
Bdsmpassions.com is part of a network of other sites, some you can use for free but others you need to upgrade to use. It might be that others of these sites are busier, it's worth checking out at least.
Is BDSMPassions.com Free? Completely Free, But...
Bdsmpassions.com is free to use, no strings attached. However, there's not much going on at this particular site. It is, however, part of the passions network and you can pay $4.95 a month for access to all 260+ of them. You make a one-off payment too, and there are various deals on that.
I would suggest checking out a few of the other sites (many you can join for free) before paying, to see if it'll be worth the investment. If they're all as quiet as bdsmpassions.com, it might not be.
BDSM Passions Help and FAQ's | Thorough Information
There are help sections and FAQ at bdsmpassions.com which has lots of information on how to use the site, how to make the most of your profile and other practical issues. Both the help and the FAQ is helpful, but you might spend time looking around for your answers as it's not obvious what information you'll find under each heading.
BDSMpassions.com Final Thoughts | You Get What You Pay For
Bdsmpassions.com is a basic site, definitely not slick or easy on the eye. There are many free functions, but it's hard to use them as there isn't much activity on the site from other users. So it might be worth trying out and the more people using the site, posting to forums and joining groups, the better it will become. But is bdspassions.com worth that investment? That's up to you to decide.
