You have 365 days to be stupid with loved ones, so what's the point of a "special" day, it's currently not safe to go shopping with all the ridiculous things on the shelves, I mean who needs a singing zebra with a moving head??? There are some couples who love each other but are not full on lovely dovey all the time and perhaps don't even go out on dates that often so it becomes kinda routine - so, it's a prompt to kinda do something special together. Meanwhile... of course it's a good time for secret (or not so secret) admirers. Got a crush on someone? It's a good prompt to actually say something or surprise with a gift or something. For me... I'm telling any fans and admirers that I am accepting Greggs Gift Cards

PixieDust Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Personally I love Valentine's Day only for the fact it is my Birthday.........not that it gets me any more flowers or the like, but hey if there are any secret admirers out there....feel free to send my way😁chocolates even better would never say no to chocolate now that is sacrilege........ mind you by the time they made it to Aus I don't think there would be much left....the downside to when you live at the arse end of the world, it takes forever to get here 😋 .......apart from that the only other downside for me is that its so dam expensive to go out and doing anything as people jack up the prices.

I totally agree with this you big bunch of miseries 😂 yes it is commercialised but what’s wrong with having one day when it’s alllll about spoiling people & if you’re single then there’s nothing wrong with a bit of ‘self love’ 😉
