I’m pretty sure I have all the ornaments but I can never see myself on the lid of people who have found them all. Am I supposed to be able to see myself on the list?

The list that shows the members who have collected all icons so far, means those members have collected all available released icons so far.  The list that resets each day and starts fresh as a new icon is released. If you find the new icon and have the previous days icons collected you will then appear on that list.  The list continually updates every few mins, so if you don't see yourself, don't worry as you would have been on the list but due to many members collecting, the list moves fast and there is a chance that you may not see yourself but you would have appeared.  Hope that helps. 😊
