I love their music I donโ€™t understand why they get so much hate. The Gallaghers may be annoying in person but when it comes to music they definitely have something that brings life to their songs.

So I was listening to Lies by Jonathan Linton. Chill reggae song that gives roots reggae vibes. I discovered this song while I was watching one of Glenn Frickerโ€™s mix Mondays videos.

Been on an old school funk swing as of late.

Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder. Originally heard this from the video game SSX 3 covered by The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Which was alright but when I heard the original, I fell in love.

Slippinโ€™ Into The Darkness by War. Not your typical funk beat definitely a bit slower than your usual funk beats. But it makes it sound more unique to me, more feeling, more soul.

You Dropped The Bomb On Me - The Gap Band. Heard this one long time ago but never got to appreciate it. Definitely love that iconic synth riff, very sexy sounding.

Square Biz by ***a Marie. This one took me by surprise. I thought she was like a pop artist but it turns out she can get funky as well. Damn, so much was definitely put in this track.

Yearning For Your Love by The Gap Band. Heard this originally from a hip hop song. I canโ€™t remember which one it was from though. Thereโ€™s a lot going in this one too. The use of the fuzz effect on the guitar used like a horn instrument was definitely interesting.  The intro was hot too with that guitar feedback reverberating for a long period of time.

Sheโ€™s A Bad Mama Jama by Carl Carlton. Heard this one as a sample from rapper Foxy Brown but the original was obviously better since I was never a fan of her rapping skills. Anyways this one was definitely funky.
