Brat dynamics - acknowledging when they are right

I'm to old to start learning a whole new language that is totally unrelated to dictionary meanings.

I'll eventually find a group of old schoolers where I'll fit in.

There are actually a few of them here.

I actually understand the words brat , tamer ,handler and enabler.

I'm just not understanding the definitions that people have made up for their own purposes. And that's fine for them.

Maybe explaining that original meanings no longer apply. That might make it easier for old timers to know where to avoid in order not to rile everyone up

Personally, it depends on the context - if it is a "serious" matter where the brat is correct then yeah you should acknowledge the fact they are correct. I think when it comes to serious issues it is more important to protect the trust and integrity you have built then to ruin the mood

If it is something silly like for example - oh did you know the sky is red! And the brat goes whattttt you are silly it's obviously blue ! - then I see this more as teasing and playing about and no you don't have to go oh you are absolutely right little one it is blue!

What a thought provoking subject tho, love it!

This is a great question but I will always acknowledge when my brat is correct on something. Yes it will lead to some obnoxious bratty behavior out of her. But I believe all relationships. Especially in this space, need to be built on honesty and trust.

Now if they are right about something that avoids a punishment for themselves, I have extreme confidence that their behavior after you admitting to them they are right will warrant a punishment.

If it hurts their ego to admit that I’m right, they are not the right person for me… and that’s my philosophy in and out of kink. Along with being a brat I also have a praise kink so the right person will know how to use that to get the best out of me. I’m not gonna give anyone tips because I’m currently in a dynamic with someone who will see this… but hyping me up can be a good thing
