Idk seems kinda vague but if I was to ever say that it would probably be praise for being so eager to be tied? 100% not entire sure tho 😂

It's a quite simple role I think. It's basically a Sub role, so it involves the basics of submission which are trust, bond between you and your dom, and devotion for the moment shared etc... And after that juste let yourself get tied up, communicate when it's not okay ofc, and afterward tell your rigger your opinion about the session. Easier than slave or pet or probably any other role I could think of.

I might not have a lot of experience but a couple of times I’ve experienced bunnies who were so sensitive to being bound i might as well have used toilet paper.
I think a “good bunny” should have some bit of a masochistic pleasure in all of it.
Not to say bad rigging has any excuses but jeez..Don’t show an interest in binding if yourre a porcelain doll.

Being highly communicative about your physical comfort level. If something is going numb or feels even slightly uncomfortable, say something. I absolutely do not want to give someone permanent nerve damage. I can probably come up with more, but that's my first go to.

A genuine interest in being a rope bunny so you can patiently enjoy the process! You can’t and shouldn’t have to rush a good thing.

Also, having a great body and wearing sexy underwear that stays on or gets removed helps too (btw - I checked out your profile pics and you definitely qualify ! 😉)

Yes it’s about the rope .. but sexual tension counts for an awful lot. So let your sexuality flow and give out little signs - vocal, movements, hmmm’s… etc that you’re enjoying it and of course , do feel free to get turned on specially when the rigger is between your legs.

Other responses regarding respect, trust and communication are good advice too.

Being a good rope bunny means working with your rigger, feeding back to him if wraps are too tight/loose, or need to be moved to allieviate pressure on nerves.

Telling him if you have known issues, injuries. That will cause you problems later.

This is especially important with a new rigger, as he might know how to position ropes in general but everyone is different, or how you like to be tied, do you like rope applied fast or slow.

Learn how to question a potential rigger, on where he learnt, how long hes been tying, etc.

One of the best things ive read on the subject is called the Rope Bottoming Guide.

Being a rope bottom/bunny isn't a "simple role" nor is it dependant upon anyone's body type and whether or not they have a "great body" which is essentially subjective anyway and basically an unsolicited pick up attempt.

You need to stretch and hydrate.
You need to be mindful of what you're wearing, underworld bra's are not friends of rope. Comfortable clothing will prevent/minimise the risk of burns.
You need to be aware of your own body and it's response to being tied. Are areas or your body becoming numb, are you feeling dizzy, what injuries (muscular or skeletal have you experienced in the past which will affect how the rope is used - its your responsibility to complete this risk assessment and then communicate it)
You need to check your mobility and sensitivity periodically whilst wearing rope.
You need to communicate effectively throughout being tied including how you're feeing both emotionally and physically.
You need to know the different types of rope and the positives/negatives of each one.
You also need to have a good awareness of different ties so that you can monitor what to rigger is doing, are they knowledgable/experienced is what they're doing safe.

Definitely communicate how you're feeling both physically and emotionally ☺️ be yourself,honest and be open minded so you can build a connection. it's not body type, it's energy and interest that really makes a rope bunny fun.

This!!! I can NOT push the truth of this comment enough! As a bunny (on the thicker side at that) myself I do a lot of studying with and without Sir. I’m studying ties, anatomy, and different stretching techniques. A good bunny is going to be pro active. Communicative. Patient. Enthusiastic. Aware of their limitations and unafraid to use safe words. Really the list goes on… bunnies/rope bottoms do more than just lay there and take it.

100% agree that body type is not important. A few years ago a group of riggers did a whole body positivity thing on fetlife which involved larger (size 14+) and physically disabled people being tied.

One particular example showed a woman in a wheelchair being suspended.

Also agree with the commenta on hydration and stretching before, also ensuring youve eaten as some ties will sap you of energy, especially partial suspensions where the body is.in stress positions.

Speaking as with females a ringer with males a rope bunny. A good rope bunny is • not shy to inform there ringer of when the restraints are 1 to tight 2 to loose 3 in a bad spot 4 cutting in • they can tell how experienced there ringer is off the bat by examining there rope • is eager and obedient for the restraining process • and makes Shure there schedule is open for however long it may end up being because most ringers are doms and there are lots of different types of doms out there like I only really like battling other females for domination and then when I win I like to restrain her and set up the toys so I can watch her orgasm over and over I also like to watch her orgasm for artistic inspiration meaning that I like to randomly draw naked chicks but I need to keep my photographic memory bank full otherwise I always end up drawing them in the same position.
