Thank you for voicing this! If I am not mistaken, how the app is marketed now is also different from how it was before. It was more about community when I joined if I recall right. More like a virtual munch app than dating/hookup. But guess an app can not survive on a niche audience and has to appeal to horny vanilla people as well and now we have a mix of all sorts with conflicting ideas and expectations.

I’m not sure how it’s marketed, but that’s what I expected when I downloaded it and how I use it. There are a lot of “dating site” features that may not have been there before, but I still don’t know how to use them. I think to some degree the App is what you make it. My DM’s are for questions and conversations. If we choose to get serious in the chat, it can be a great learning resource for those that are new. I was taught the things I know, so this space is a place for me to give back while constantly learning more. The lifestyle is complex, figuring out what you want and why is difficult without mentorship. That goes for Doms and Subs. I feel like the lifestyle as a whole has suffered from a lake of mentors.

You can search for local events under Search>Events, but if you don’t live in a high kink area, there may not be much there. You can also search for locals on the Search page, limit your Home Screen radius and post an ad asking if there are local munches or if people are interested in creating one. You can always be the one who starts the munch ❤️
