Are symbols for “unowned sub” etc universally considered correct? Example being the up arrow in a box.
I don't think any BDSM symbols are universally correct to be honest.
Yes there is... It's a circle with a symbol inside ...
The closed circle signifies a collar.....
It indicates the submissive or slave is owned and unavailable to others....
The up-pointing arrow inside the circle represents the male biology symbol.... and
the plus (+) inside the circle represents the female biology symbol...
Pineapple 🍍 means swingers. But I want my pineapple upside down! Take me bowling is some kinda thing too, I think.
There is almost no universal language outside of specific sub cultures, even kink related a new. If you see a symbol as being some it's a thing you can use as a conversation starter. If it's not part of someone else's lingo it can be part of yours. <3
I love my dumb fingers.

Even kink related sub cultures*

no -  there isn't a universal symbol

like, because of this a lot of events make their own rules to show status where applicable (be it wristbands, marks on head, collars with/without leads)

Even then only usually in specific circumstances.  Particularly on cruise ships - or where there is a party happening and people know there's a party happening and the upside down pineapple at the door tells them they're at the right place

And, that said - an issue with pranks on cruise ships with people placing pineapples outside people's doors.

I never been on a cruise. I love the song he wants that pineapple upside down. My she went on the cruise can up with it?
