I’ve noticed on this app and others that a lot of the fake accounts will also use “mistress” as a part of their username usually followed by a few numbers.

Usernames with random numbers in general are often times fake. Exceptions would be birth years (60’s - 00’s) but they use those too.

I really hope the developers of these apps are able to get a handle on this because it’s everywhere and makes a lot of them essentially unusable.

Yep I completely agree. It seems to be slightly better on here than on some of the others. Kinkoo, for instance, used to be a great app and I met a lot of cool people on there and now it’s gotta be 70-80% scammers and bots

I report like crazy. I think I have well over a hundred messages from Kinkoo support confirming my reports.

I block right at the first question. I don't even argue with such people. Pity about the time and energy. Someone who has nothing to hide can also chat here quietly. Only after chatting with someone for a longer period of time, and with sufficient confidence, I consider the step to chat with someone outside this platform.

Am the same - have never used it, always used to be an app that I deleted when it came with a device.

I do have other chat apps and they are useful but they're reserved for people I know in the real world, or have got to know and trust over time on a site, but unless we *both* are comfortable with moving to one of them I see no need to move away from the messaging options the site provides.

Anyone wanting me to move to them straight away will always raise a red flag and likely bring an end to any further conversation if I don't already know them well enough.

I had one the other day... I called them out on their blatent scammery tactics and they blocked me haha.. so i reported and they got banned 💪 that's been the only one so far though.

Yes this place is full of scammers out for *** I get at least 1 or 2 a. Day I just f*** with them a few days then report them

TBH no matter what site you go on you will always get fake accounts trying it on.  On the whole this site in my experience deals with them quicker than most other sites i have been on.

I notice as soon as i see a typical fake account chat line, the accounts been bounced within 20 mins in most cases.  Or they have been crossed out with awaiting to be verified " label on their profile and unable to interact until they verify.

As for playing fake accounts along it's not wise, the old adage "don't feed the troll" comes to mind.  Just report and if they are fake they will be deleted sooner, just remember they are playing several others along at the same time who might fall for their scams, so sooner they are reported the better for all.

With experience you soon get to know fake accounts MO. So learn to just not respond with them.  It's a *** yes but in all fairness this is a smaller problem on here compared to other sites.  Especially when it's a world wide target audience.

So many sites with little results. Hesitated so many times getting online again to meet someone due to scammers. Hopefully this site will give me a positive outcome.

The problem is when they ask me to give tribute.I did say for my page I am not Sub or slave and they start to be asking tribute and training me.

Dating scams are as old as the hills unfortunately and every site has it to some degree.

(what can get more confusing is the sites that do allow ads for pro services without real separation) 

There's a lot I like about fet dot com and how they deal with it.   So, it's no shared database like a lot of dating sites while also lacking the "a member just messaged you, pay to read it / message them back" which a lot of other dating sites have done....

When I first came here, the only responses I got were from scammers. It was so bad I had to shut down for several months. Won't fall for any of it now, but it's disappointing not to find compatible, genuine people easily.
