I have a set of Pratt sounds. Nice and smooth. I've used many things in my 60 years of sounding until I was able to purchase actual sounding sets. I cannot use any that have bubbles or bumps because they have caused a little bleeding. Silicone is great too and great for beginners. Just remember to keep whatever sounds you use clean and use a lot of lube.
