New dom looking for knowledge

I recently came to the conclusion that I am a pleasure dom but I know there a few type hard soft doms and those are pretty much clear on what they are (I think) but then there are primal doms could anyone tell me bout them

Primal is pretty much just as it sounds. The act of seduction and physical sex is very raw. It can often lack words completely but be more akin to a Tiger taking down its prey. Whether it be for pleasure or for punishment it is an act of raw instinct and often selfish fulfillment. The “prey” is fullfilled simply by being prey. They may respond to protect themselves with biting scratching until that moment of submission when there is nothing left but to surrender. In that moment they have reached a deep satisfaction. That is my assumption since I have always been the Hunter and nit the prey.

Most of these terms are kinda meaningless on their own.

Dominants generally have different styles and likes 

So someone might be strict, stern, disciplinarian

someone might be cruel, sadistic

or you could be soft, kind, sensual

or you could cross over - you could be a kind, caring, disciplinarian 

the term 'Pleasure Dom' seems to be relatively new in usage and seems to be a way to make 'Service Top' more sexy.  A Service Top is someone who isn't necessarily Dominant but will do deemed Dominant acts in line with their partners pleasure.

Even then some of the terms get crossed over.   Let's say I'm at a fetish event and a nice young lady says something like; "I haven't been spanked for ages and I really crave a good spanking" and then either asked if I would spank her, or I offered.

This is something some would consider me to be doing Service Topping, or acting as a Pleasure Dominant - since I am doing the act for her enjoyment, even though I am probably going to enjoy it also

But then it also might be did she ask me because I was there. Because she trusted/knew me.  Cos she really liked my hands.  Or had seen me spank someone else thought it was hot and would like to be in on it?

I agree with this. Primal is all instinct and letting go of inhibitions. My Dom is primal and he absolutely overpowers me in a very ***istic way. It's not gentle. To me primal is the purest form of being 'man-handled' if that makes sense.

"Pleasure Dom" can also have a slight sadistic twist (how my primary partner does it, anyway) in that he often uses pleasure *to* Dominate me. He gets to decide how many times I climax, when I have to hold it and resist while he's pleasuring me, when I finally get release, when he overloads me with pleasure and I climax until I pass out (all negotiated for and consentual).

Ok by no means am I sadist but that sounds like fun
