It could be from jealousy, lack of trust, or even trying to be sexy with you. Whatever the intent, it made you feel uncomfortable and that needs to be shared with your partner. You are absolutely allowed to have privacy and set your own boundaries in any relationship. I hope you will talk with each other and clear it up.
