Something that occurred to me yesterday that would be useful - when searching for users there are various options available to narrow down that search (gender, role, age, radius etc) which are all great, what would additionally be useful especially with many profiles not being active would be the ability to filter out by "Last seen".
.
Should be fairly simple to implement too

if it helps...

there's the "Sort By" option which includes a list like age, distance, location - it also has 'last login'

obviously there's a difference in what people do when they login - but certainly if you see someone hasn't logged in for 3 months you know they're less likely to be active than the person who logged in 3 days ago

Ah thanks for that - hadn't realised that was an option, though would still be handy to have it as a filter out option for precisely the reasons you suggest

I've just been trying to clean up some messages and found it annoying, frustrating and laborious to do so.

Whilst trying to delete conversations/messages from deleted members from my inbox, each and every time I do so, I'm thrown out of my inbox. This means I then have to go back in, scroll down to find the next one, and go through the same again.

Not only that, but trying to do the same in the hidden messages is even worse, since I have to first individually move each one from hidden to inbox, and then go through the process above.

Is it supposed to be this difficult, laborious and frustrating? Surely not 🥴

Agreed, it's frustrating. Especially the getting tossed out of your inbox part

There are a number of roles, archetypes and fetishes that aren't options to choose that I'd like to see added.

It's also confusing to have "active" and "passive" on things. Could it not be "giving" and "recieving" instead?

they do

I have reported profiles and weeks later those profiles are still active.  So If they do, they don't do it well enough.

The site has deleted most I reported, but they pop up like Whack a Mole.

there's bits I've found over time.  But also, stuff where - we'd have to be certain on the process to improve the process.  And I know how reports etc. have been dealt with has changed a lot over time.    There was one point where reporting someone for financial interests would send them to a fake check - and a lot of people became aware of this and used this maliciously against women who wouldn't date them - both frustrating for the woman - and any other guys she was talking with.

The other week I reported a lot of profiles - it was during the peak of the TikTok influx and I went cross-eyed manually going through about 700 accounts - of the women you could split most into three categories (1) definitely selling/financial (2) it appears so, but can't be proven (3) unlikely to be selling

So of the women, I only reported those in (1) - I got some "action has been taken" before I'd even finished going through the accounts - but I know those in number 2 would need some form of actual proof and "I'm looking for a Daddy to spoil me" for example, isn't proof.

I think there were a handful of women who I reported for other reasons, but... onto the men (and everyone else).

There were some I reported for financial interests - but there were actually an awful lot of men breaking other rules on their profile for example contact details, drug references, (One actually using code to suggest he was selling ***), incest, ***-above-fantasy-level, etc

I didn't keep any form of tabs on who I was reporting or anything like that - and I did get a lot of "we've taken action" messages (some, not at the time...) and actually probably a lot where support have possibly done something like - had a word, or, removed a line from the profile, or sent to fake check, or more than one of those.

I'm going a long way for a short answer that - unless something is blatant or proven, they might not take action because of the issue that used to happen in the past - or - they might have taken action but.... if 2 weeks later the person has passed fake check and then added something back into their profile etc. (or not removed it - I don't actually know if support tells them to remove it, or removes it) then... report them again... so long as it is clear it is still in breach.

Reporting profiles is a double edged sword. I’ve called out unsolicited cock pics only to be reported for ‘body shaming’  , even though unsolicited dick pics are illegal in the UK (despite what the m@ds say ) and *** is a kink that some prefer to shame…. 🙄

Sending Dick Pics is against our code of conduct.  If someone did decide to report you because you'd reported their unsolicited dick pics then no action would be taken.

If you believe you have been sent any as part of any criminal activity then please contact the police. You can then work with support with the police crime number.

yeah, honestly - the law around dick pics in the UK is part of a much bigger bill which is still going through parliament (Online Safety Bill)

when it passes it will be a really good thing because just sending an unsolicited dick pic will be against the law (if it passes 'as is') and can carry up to 2 years in prison (although the overall bill it's part of is a bad thing - it would certainly affect the availability of this site in the UK)

Presently to prosecute someone for sending a dick pic it comes under the Malicious Communication Act 1988 - and to do that you have to prove the sender did so for the sole purpose of causing you anxiety or distress - so that is a lot more difficult to prove unless it's part of wider harassment.  Whereas with the new law, as is, just sending a pic would be a breach.   How that would hold up if a US user sent a pic to a UK member of a German site could be a different kettle of fish, but the principle is there.

But, no, Cyberflashing is currently not against UK law as the bill is still going through parliament.  I'd personally like/prefer it to have gone through as it's own smaller bill rather than the monster that is Online Safety - but then, without getting overtly political - it's not like our government is efficient.

Laws and customs that are meant to protect people can and will, sadly be ***d.

I don't mean we shouldn't have laws and customs. And there is some sound advice on this thread I think.  But humans will human. They will find a way of making things bad.

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences.

I honestly  don't think people should be allowed to ask us to have acsses to our private gallery.

I have photos in my private gallery for 1 reason only. That's for me to look at.

Yes I know we can tell people  no. But I get so many requests of guys asking to see the photos in it . It's getting on my nerves.

If I wanted people to look at them they would be shared in my public folder.

I put photos in my private gallery for my eyes only. I carnt leave them on my phone as people need to get into my phone if I'm realy ill and I need to my carers to make calls for me.

Yes they want look but I'd rather keep my phone clean. So keep them on here were there safe.

Yes there on master pc. But I like to be able to look at them when I'm alone.

My private photos are for my wank bank

I don't think that's the intended purpose for why the site *has* the secret gallery option though. If it was, people wouldn't be able to know that you even have one. There are plenty of other options to have locked & hidden photo albums for your eyes only outside of this app.

Indeed, all my photos are on my phone in a secure folder that requires fingerprint access to get into, and as you say there are plenty of other options besides, though using the site is of course one but comes with the thing of being requested to have access, which is a minor inconvenience - even if the option to request access was removed, people would then resort to sending messages requesting to see, or friend requests in the hope that would unlock access - so the "traffic" would remain.

Even though I put in my profile - only friends get access to my private images….random men request to see my pics…. Remind me about informed consent. Just because I’m on Fet does mean I’m a free porn 🙄

Yes friends can see them. But anyone man or woman can still send a request to see them.

I really want the block function to apply to the IP address please? So if I block someone they can’t create another profile and hassle me through that one instead. I’m sure you’re able to block people from the app against their IP address so please extend it to the in app function too 🙏🏼

The problem with that is while fixed IP addresses are a thing - most IP addresses change depending on how/where you've connected, so if someone is on their mobile and using WiFi in a cafe, their IP address will be different than if they were at home for example.
.
Then you have people using VPNs which allocate a different IP each time.
.
Frustrating I know and wish it were possible, but the only way to block that way would be on the device ID which sadly isn't passed through and even then would only apply to the individual device.

This isn't how the internet works, nor has been for a long time.

IPs are neither static, nor unique.

You get a new IP, even without a VPN, just by restarting your router or your internet connection resetting - (so if your internet provider had an outage for even just a few minutes, you'd have a new IP after it)

then that's before we get into phones.   This changes frequently depending on where you are. Mobile data. Wifi. Whose network. etc

There was someone used an example the other day that one user had had 450 different IP addresses over a year, and a fair few of them had been shared with around 20 other users.

Having multiple accounts is against our TOS.

If you suspect someone you have blocked starts a new profile, then please report it with as much info as possible so support can investigate.

Hello everyone. You know when a member sends a gift, it comes with a message. Does anyone know the function to write and send a message?🙏 Been trying to figure out, but no success. Thank you.

I realise that …. My point is that I get requests from accounts that I haven’t interacted with… asking to see images set to friends only. If I wanted for everyone to see my pics, I’d set them to everyone can see. ⛈
