Your heavenly body

I was your planet. Orbiting around your heavenly body. No will of my own.

You eclipsed me. I realise the gravity of the situation but powerless to alter my destiny I revolved and tilted to your happy tune.

I recall how i was mesmorized by your moons. Like two shining orbs they siren called me towards the rocks.

You calmed me in that meteor shower. You let me bathe in your sea of tranquility. 

Then, once your Little Bear, took me to your dark side. Locked me in close proximity. Thrashed me with Orion's belt.  Demanded that I penetrate your black hole and then swallowed me up.

I'm just a twinkle now in your milky way. A spec in your fermament. A long forgotton memory from light years' past. No longer worthy of service turned from rock to dust.

But I still orbit your heavenly body. And that's enough.
