The Glint in her eye

Laughing and joking

With vigor and mirth

An angelic creature

Found here on earth

The beast inside slumbers

as though fed to excess

put to sleep by the little princess

He sleeps with a glint in his eye

 

Longing to hold, protect

and keep safe

Under your wing

In your arms, a safe place

Changing and learning

Yearning to be

The one who eventually

She will call daddy
