Okay, so I have watched femdom porn/BDSM but I feel like it's something I'd actually be into.  My question is to Dom/mes and subs alike.  Where should I begin, and what informative sites might teach me more on the lifestyle?  Or even personal experiences are welcome!

I think a good place to start is knowledge building.  Porn can be a way of deciding you might want to try certain things, but porn never tells the full story (from how to do things safely, to pre-existing relationships, to that actually it's pretty much all set up especially the sites that say they're not set up) so, let some of that fuel questions.    

Getting involved in communities can help - whether it's online communities (like this one) or local ones via munches and events (I do a mixture of online and offline socialising.  My local scene isn't the strongest in ways so I've also gone to some non-local events) 

Remember the whole thing takes time.

I've been on here for a couple days and within literal minutes I had a few people message me about being their sub, and I just got overwhelmed so quick without being prepped.  But I shall definitely give all these things a shot and build my database

Take your time.

Get to know people. Just because someone is dominant it doesn't automatically guarntee a connection.

I think it's important to be sceptical at why someone is so quick - and, like the comment on this thread that's since been removed - if someone seems a little too keen especially when you're new, it's good to be cynical

I had some temporary fun over on another site recently, I was setting up a second profile for my clip studio (perfectly within the rules for that site) and again, within minutes someone was asking me to be their slave - they couldn't have even read the profile and I think I didn't even have photos at the time.  So, I had a little fun pretending to go along with things until their profile was ultimately deleted

The thing that made me so skeptical to begin with was the fact one, the English was broken beyond someone even not native to the language, and two, a few of them immediately asked for personal info.  Like sorry, I don't just give out my personal stuff without knowing.
