Da**** Posted June 24 Posted June 24 There is indeed a risk of infection if there is *** or dryness in that sensitive zone. Obviously you would like it to stay in for longer but remember the tissues can get desensitized with longer use and same degree of gaping isn’t as pleasurable. Thereby you might stretch it further and put yourself at greater risk of ***. Also be mindful of the direction in which you apply and hold it and what you do/wear when it’s in. Sometimes you may wish to consider alternating a speculum with expandable toys that might be safer.

As it is a self cleaning organ and air is circulating with the speculum theres a higher risk for other infections to happen not just a uti and that can affect other organs so i’d ver on caution
