My oncologist is a dom. He knew the second he saw me. I wear my collar everywhere so all my doctors know. I have had a lot of interesting conversations. Yet, with that has come some good care. I get the health care I need. They all make sure that I am tested for everything that I need. Being honest has helped in my health.

I'm very open and honest about my life. Anyone who has known me more than a day knows about my life. Hell, even my boss knows about it. When I told the last doctor about it and told her that I was poly, she put "high risk sexual activity" in my chart. Like, what's high risk about it?? I have rules for it, and everyone that gets involved with me abides by the rules. The next doctor I told was like "You too huh?"

if we're talking about sexual health testing - you don't need to tell your doctor or anyone else you're poly.  You can go to a clinic (or even just order home tests) and it should be no questions asked.  Well, apart from questions about which tests are relevant - likelihood would be vaginal, rectum and throat swabs along with a *** test.

Clinics only really need to know if (a) you have symptoms (b) you make porn - because for (b) you'd want a formal certificate (in the US that's companies like Talent Testing rather than a local clinic)

I explained to my dr that I was going through a heaux period and needed really effective birth control and a thorough work up. I didn’t go into further detail. She wasn’t shocked and talked about her days when she had multiple partners. It’s perfectly normal.

I only tell my providers when it is directly relevant to my issues, which is extremely rare. The only providers I always tell are couples therapists, for probably obvious reasons. Other than that, nope.

Told a doctor but i was judged hard. Still get yearly tests to make sure everything is good though.

I'm always honest with my doctors. It was difficult finding a therapist who is okay with me being a sadist and not wanting to change it. All of my partners have always told their doctors that any marks are consensual, and not had any trouble - and some of these marks could land me in jail if not consensual - I'm in Georgia, but they're surprisingly understanding and not kink-shame-y. Of course, your mileage may vary.

Like ripping off a bandaid and if you already have a good relationship/feel comfortable with them is important. Doctors have heard and seen a LOT of crazy stuff, so whatever you're nervous about just remember they've seen it already. It's so important to have good doctors

My doctor wants me to get a Colon Check as I've never had one before for any of my physicals. I have been thinking and wondering what if I get aroused during this Check by whomever is doing it? I'm thinking that I might actually get wet and start dripping because I love my Feminity and want anal sex.

There’s actually no standard there. Some do full sedation, some do practically none. Some do them in the regular office, some do them at dedicated colorectal centers attached to hospitals, again no standard.

The upside of talking to your doc as an impact bottom is it lessens the chance of unwanted involvement from social services if you ever require emergency treatment that reveals a bunch of unexplained bruising. If you claim on the spot it is all fun and games you’ll get a less apathetic ear than if it’s actually in your chart from months or years earlier.

I don't personally because I smoke cigarettes and I know that some of these doctors would blame everything that could medically take you out on cigarettes you slip on a banana peel they'll blame it on smokes and they will form a bias against yo I do not reveal any information unless it is medically Necessary
