Ok…What is a MUNCH I hear you say?!
Traditionally, Munches were set up as social gatherings for people interested in BDSM in the early 90’s prior to the internet taking over the world!
The Wirral munch is one of the oldest of it’s kind in the region and it’s held at Townhouse. This is open to ANYONE and its FREE!!!!!!
The idea is that people come together who have got an interest (even if it’s a bit of minor curiosity at the moment) in BDSM/Fetish to chat, chew the fat, share stories and BDSM experiences and reassure newbies that we really aren’t mad and that BDSM/Fetish covers anything from a bit of blindfolded, tie and tease sex, right up to severe and . The BDSM spectrum is broad and at the Wirral Munch we get people interested in all sorts of weird and mainly wonderful shit! We enjoy drinks with some of the most interesting characters you are likely to meet.
To put it very simply, imagine you are in the pub, having a drink or 3 and talking about stuff that would raise more than a few eyebrows down at the Red Lion! ?
The Wirral Munch is a bit different, in that the ground floor of the club is strictly just like any other pub. So no public nudity and no sex of any kind on this floor. However, if people want to come in and use our dungeons, wet area or watch some BDSM play, then they can and it just costs them a fiver. No membership needed. This is NOT a swinging event.
We also hold demos throughout the year too for those who want to learn some skills
You can book in as a non member and as long as you stay on the groundfloor it’s free entry. If you want to wander to the cellar dungeon, wet area or the upper floors, it’s a fiver…simples!
The Wirral munch takes place on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 7pm til Midnight and it’s busy!
The not so small print......
Names on Ticket – You must use your real, legal name on your ticket for it to be valid. Please do not use N/A, a scene name or a pseudonym as this will invalidate your ticket without a refund. We will check the ticket name against your ID/membership on arrival.
Times - Doors open at 7pm and the venue closes at 12am; first time guests need to arrive before 830pm. Established members can arrive up until 9:30pm, when we lock our doors.
Deposit – We ask everyone to pay a £10 bar tab deposit on arrival and this must be paid in CASH. The £10 will be offset against your bar bill when you leave the club.
Covid – Due to new legislation from the government as of Thursday 24th February 2022, all covid restrictions in England have been dropped so we will no longer have any restrictions in place. Refunds will no longer be offered to those with a PCR result due to these changes.
Membership - Ladies, couples and single guys who were members prior to Covid must all renew their membership on their first visit. Please bring your old membership card, £10 IN CASH and your ID; please see the simple ID requirements below. New couples and ladies must also join on their first visit. Please see the membership page on our website for info on our new biometrics membership system. Single guy memberships are now open, please see our Membership page on the website for more information.

ID - We prefer a driving licence for ID but will accept a passport and recent bill/official letter; the latter can be electronic. If you do not hold a passport or driving licence, then 2 official letters/utility bills/bank statement dated in the last 3 months are also acceptable. Both members of a couple must have ID if they are not current members.
Cancellations – If you cannot make an event, please email us as soon as possible to let us know. Tickets are not refundable or transferable to other people or events, so please only book when you are 100% certain you can make it. If you ‘no show’ for an event and don’t contact us to cancel, you will receive a strike. Please see our 3 strikes rule on our website.
Parking - you may park in our large car park adjacent to the club, which is also shared with Booker Wholesale during the day. It is floodlit and covered by CCTV.
Although this is a free night, you will need a ticket to gain entry - See the website for more info including our dress code, rules and etiquette and tons of other useful info.
Please note that your £10 ticket will be used as your bar tab deposit on the night, so the event is still free to all. Please only book a couples ticket if you hold a current couples membership or intend to join as a couple on the night. If you join as a couple, you can only ever attend as a couple
