Imo every spank for punishment or pleasure has its own rules to how intense and how often. I set these rules and do not let a dice decide whats the best for the submissive

Can do the same with a pack of cards, just cut the deck, if they're not restrained make pick their own fate or you can make the cut if they are.

Dice has 6 possible outcomes, cards have a range of 1 to 10 or 1 to 13, depending on how you decide to number the suits, for the sub to ponder when they/you make the cut.

Personally find cards have a bit more drama, anticipation & interaction than a dice.

Can do a double cut & add the cards together for higher numbers & cards actually have 52 possible outcomes, as there are 4 suits of the 10/13. There's 52 cards they have to ponder when they cut the deck, watching them trying to work out where's the best place to cut, should they cut there or higher or maybe go lower, will it be a low number or will it be a picture card. Like I said, bit more drama & intensity/concentration with cards.

Can even leave the Jokers in to add to the possibilities, use them as say a doubling/tripling card, that they have to cut the deck again if they get the Joker & double/triple the number.

There are 100 and 300 sided dice as well. But a better option, which results in more consistency, is rolling multiple 6 sided, or better yet, multiple 4 sided dice and adding the results. Five 4 sided dice give results from 5-20 instead of 1-20.

You can even make a game out of it - if the spankee doesn't respond with the correct total in a set time (like 5 seconds) then you add another die.

You could also get a full set of poly dice (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 20 sided) and choose which size depending on the reason. Or escalate based on behavior.

That would be up to my Mistress to decide that as I wouldn’t necessarily get a say on how I was punished or funishment while she may take my thoughts and feelings into consideration it would be in my best interest to do as she says always.

This sounds like a really cool idea. Especially by also using higher sided number of dice based on how good/bad the sub is. If the sub is very bad, they could use a D100

I understand your POV. Yet for me in my eyes that’s still a type of control even if I give them the die or dice they’re throwing it and I would have to go off what’s on the die or dice. Yea no I’ll be throwing the die or dice.
