For all water bondage lovers
Bondage and restraint is sexy and fun but what about taking it to the extreme? Water bondage combines restraint with water, upping the fear factor considerably. It is a very extreme BDSM activity and definitely calls for the use of RACK rules (Risk Aware Consensual Kink) as there is a very real risk of death when indulging in it. We’re not trying to put you off, but you need to know the dangers so you can be prepared for them, right?
Water bondage can happen in a body of water (such as a bath or a pool) or can be used on someone on dry land. Remember though to do your research, know your stuff and don’t undertake this extreme kink unless you’re completely confident you know what you’re doing.
What is water bondage?
This type of bondage uses water as part of the scene. It can be anything from spraying water on a restrained person to dunking them under water in a form of breath play.
What rope should I use for water bondage?
Any rope you don’t mind getting wet. Some people keep some rope especially for use in water, others buy cheap rope and throw it away after each use. Don’t use your most expensive and favourite rope, as water will ruin it.
How does a sub communicate during water bondage?
You need to agree an obvious, quick action that the sub will give if they get into distress. If their hands are free, maybe they tap you rapidly 2 or 3 times. Possibly they can blink a couple of times or move their head in a particular way. Pick something that is distinctive and if in doubt stop and check in with the sub. It is definitely better to be safe than sorry when you’re indulging in such an extreme kink.
